Focus Ball is a new psychomotor game, it is also a unisex sport that is governed by Three principles: Focus, Time and Speed.
The psychomotor game i activity that helps participants consolidate their sensory, perceptive, motor and social skill, stimulating them to find their bearing and make choices which are innovative.
The activity guide participants both individually and as a group in discovering the world around them encouraging them to interact with others, they also help strengthen participants social skills by interiorizing and reading respect for the values of the freedom, solidarity, fairness and commitment to acting for the common good.
The game is easy to learn but not everyone is actually good at focusball. The game is a unisex game invented by Mubiru Yahaya.
Focus Ball falls under several categories:
Sports:
1. Racquet sports (similar to squash, tennis, or badminton)
2. Indoor games (played within enclosed spaces)
3. Team sports (played with 2-4 players)
Psychomotor Activities:
1. Hand-eye coordination exercises
2. Fine motor skill development
3. Agility training
Educational Tools:
1. Cognitive development programs
2. Physical education resources
3. Therapeutic interventions (for ADHD, autism, etc.)
Recreational Activities:
1. Social games (encouraging teamwork and communication)
2. Leisure activities (promoting relaxation and stress relief)
